Cooking a quick and easy tea.....not so easy or quick if you’re dyslexic!

Here is another example in our series of ‘how dyslexia affects everyday life.’ You’ve had a long day, you’re home late and grab a quick microwave meal. You look at the instructions on how to cook it, and what you see is a jumble of letters! So you then have to rely on someone being on the other end of the phone to translate for you, making you feel frustrated, embarrassed and annoyed over something that was supposed to be convenient!

How would that make you feel?
