Dyslexia and food shopping
For some people with dyslexia, following lists can be difficult, more so when you have to navigate them within busy supermarkets to ensure you are getting the right product. Add to this a time limit because you have to be there can cause a huge amount of stress!
One way of alleviating this pressure can be utilising visual and having a visual list of products rather than written. Whilst it can still be time consuming, just knowing you’ve actually bought the right thing can neutralise the anxiety and help with mental health during this process and ultimately speed it up.
